Class of 2015: 7th Grade CampGood reports have been received from Mr. Lockridge of excellent student attentiveness, behavior and participation. I know it was alos a lot of fun. Good job! Mid-Eagle, our MS newspaper, will have some wonderful pictures taken by Mr. Honzaki and articles written by the MS journalism class.

Judging by school committee will be based on:
Initiative-How much personal initiative was involved in the activity? Did the applicant initiate the activity on his/her own, or demonstrate exceptional leadership or motiviation in an already organized activity?
Effort-How much time and effort did the activity require? Did the applicant have to overcome significant obstacles?
Impact-How much of a difference did the service activity make? Were a significant number of people affected, or were the lives of certain individuals impacted in a major way?
Personal Growth-Did the applicant develop new insights or skills from the experience? Does the application reflect a sound understanding of the importance of serving others?

From Athletic Director, Mr. Oshiro:1. All Students: Make plans to get out and support the girls varsity volleyball team this Thursday and Friday, October 1st and 2nd. HBA plays Word of Life on Thursday at Kamehameha at 5:00 PM. That match will be televised live on OC 16! Be sure to have your school ID. Then, Friday is the 7th Annual Spike Nite...HBA plays St. Francis here at 6:00 PM. There will be FREE pocket fans and saimin, teri-beef sticks, popsicles and drinks for all who attend courtesy of the HBA Athletic Booster Club. 2. All Fall Sport Athletes: Mr. Tan will be on leave this Thursday and Friday, October 1st and 2nd. Therefore, ALL athletic bus transportation (except bowling) will be through Roberts Hawaii.
