From the Principal, Mrs. Atta:

As part of our continuing effort to partner with the state’s efforts to curb and control the flu epidemic, we’ll be offering the following optional Flu Clinics administered by the State Department of Health:

General Flu Vaccination Clinic:
Monday, November 2, 2009 (8:00 to 11:00 a.m.)
Please check with your doctor on the risks and benefits for your child. Deadline Consent Forms Due: September 25th

H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic: Friday, December 4, 2009 (8:00 to 11:00 a.m.)
Consent Forms Due: TBA

If you choose to take advantage of these clinics for your child, please be aware of the potential physical reaction to vaccines may warrant that your child be picked up from school. If possible, please keep your schedule flexible on these days.

Please visit our website (http://www.hba.net/) for updated information regarding flu prevention. Our school nurse, Mrs. Kealoha, M.S.N., R.N. is available to address any further concerns. You may contact her at 595-6301.

From NJHS Advisor, Mrs. Quek:
Everyone deserves a treat, so treat yourself this week at the first NJHS bake sale of the year!
Go to Room 202 (our Reading Room) at break, lunch-time, and after school from Wednesday to Friday to check out all our goodies.  You will be helping us support needy children through World Vision and Compassion International.

Feed your hungry brain and plan on visiting the middle school's Scholastic Book Fair, which will be held in the MS Reading Room from September 29 - October 1!

From Athletic Director, Mr. Oshiro:
All Fall Sport Athletes:  Remember that this Tuesday, September 22nd is an early release day.  As such, there will not be any after school bus transportation provided except for the girls JV tennis team to their match at Keehi Lagoon.  Thanks, Mr. Oshiro

From Christian Ministries, Mrs. Gruspe:
This week Wednesday is See You at The Pole!  Join your classmates as we seek God and pray.  We will be meeting at the Middle School flag pole at 7:00am.
