Scripture: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares
the
Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope
and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and
I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me
with all your heart.” - Jeremiah 29:11-13

From the MS Principal, Mrs. Atta:
Eagles, Job Well Done!
➢ Talented Thespians: Under the direction of Ms. Joanna Fong, FLEX Drama teacher, students did a thought-provoking skit during Chapel on cheating and forgiveness. It was well received by all middle and high school students. The script that Shane Witsell wrote and the valuable lessons that the rest of the students portrayed in the skit will be remembered. Thank you! ➢ MS National Junior Honor Society sponsored a middle school “Go Green” Day: Students with support from Ms. Esther Quek, MS Resource teacher, presented to the faculty their vision of the day and suggested classroom activities. They also collected “Green” pledges from students. Good job!

Are you demonstrating this month’s BeAttitude Focus: Be Presevering?
Showing perseverance is: •
Finding discipline within yourself, not just outside yourself. Not
waiting to be told or reminded. Not giving up when the first thing goes
wrong. • Holding your self accountable for meeting commitments.
Asking for help when you need it. Finishing most projects you start. Be
a joyful giver. • Setting goals and working toward them regularly. Giving 110% to all of your activities. •
Living lives as a peacemaker. Getting rid of habits that don’t help me
to live as God wished me to live with others; as children of God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. (Matthew 5:9)
the ABCs of the YESS System:
ABC BeAttitude You choose your…Attitude. You choose your…Behavior. You reap the results in Celebration or Consequence.
