Scripture: : “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” –John 3:16, 17

| Lunch Duty & Clean Up: Mrs. Aguiar, Mr. Hom, 7A |
From the MS Principal (Mrs. Little):- All Students: IMPORTANT reminders for CEW-
- Regarding break and lunch time for this week- I highly suggest that you bring a “break” snack and lunch from home. The reason is because of the differing CEW schedules each day and the lines may be longer than usual.
- Bring only the necessary items for each day. Store your backpacks
and lunch boxes in your lockers. You should NOT store your backpacks
in the classrooms. We will be sharing our classrooms with the HS and
vice versa.
- If you lose your schedule or do not know where your seminars are located, please come to the office for help.
- You will want to keep your CEW 2008 booklet with you at all
times. It contains your seminar information and bell schedules.
- On Thursday during your Service Learning Project time, I have
asked Mr. Sprankle to have his room available for 8th graders and Mrs.
Yorita to have her room available for 7th graders to store your
backpacks.
- Each day during CEW we will begin school with joint home room in the MPR.
- Middle School/ High School: Snack Bar/Cafeteria Workers- Thank
you for your dedication and hard work throughout the school year.
Please note the following changes for CEW:
Monday and Friday: There is a staggered lunch schedule, in which
the Middle School students will take up the first part of lunch.
Therefore, please man your stations while your grade level is being
served.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Lunch begins the same time for everyone, 12:00-1:00. High School workers will man the stations.
Thursday: Middle School workers, please help with lunch at the high school, thank you.
(Continuation) From the MS Principal (Mrs. Little):
- All Students: This Friday is the John Hirokawa’s “Magic of Polynesia” dinner show! For those of you who are going, here are a few changes and reminders:
- The check-in time is now at 5:15 p.m. and the departure time is now at 6:00 p.m.
- If you have a change in your pick-up situation, you need to give a
written notice to the office by the end of the day on Thursday, March
13th.
- Remember the dress code - Nice pants and aloha/collared shirt for
boys. Nice dress or pants, capri pants or gauchos and top for girls.
Modest attire, please. (School uniforms NOT required. No jeans or
shorts.)
From the Admissions Director (Mrs. Lee): Please continue to support HBA’s efforts to earn college scholarships for high school seniors through Foodland's Shop for Higher Education Program. We need to be ranked in the top 50 schools in order to qualify for a scholarship award. HBA’s school code is 7521. This program runs through March 25th. [Mrs. Lee]
