High School Student Counseling
The Counseling Department provides students in Grades 9-12 with a comprehensive program of student-centered services, including academic and personal counseling. Staffed by two full-time counselors and a department chair, the counselors provide assistance to students who may need help in sorting through adolescent issues or in dealing with specific problems. While using recognized counseling strategies and skills, all services are based on respecting the unique needs and the God-given talents of each individual. Specific services include standardized testing, career guidance, and life-skill coaching within a Christian framework.
