1.    One of our students will be featured in the “GPA Play It Smart” show next Sunday, November 8th at 8:00 pm on OC-16.  Thanks to all of you for your cooperation during the filming for this show and the KHNL video last week.  {Mrs. Lee}

2.    FROM THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR (Mr. Oshiro):   
a.    All Fall Sport Athletes:  If you have a school or program issued uniform, please launder, bag, and return it to the athletic office as soon as possible.  Consumable items like t-shirts are yours to keep.  Contact the athletic office if you have any questions. 
b.    All Winter Sport Athletes:  Please remember that on most early release days there is no bus transportation provided for athletics.  This Tuesday, November 3rd is an early release day and, as such, there will NOT be any bus transportation for athletics.  Contact the athletic office if you have any questions. 
c.    All 7th-12th Graders:  If you're interested in wrestling, conditioning is ongoing Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-6:00 PM at the University High campus.  Try outs begin Monday, November 23rd.  On most regular schedule days, HBA will provide one-way bus transportation to the site, but you need to arrange your own rides home.  Please check the bus schedule posted in the middle school snack bar, middle school homerooms or outside the athletic office for details.  Contact the athletic office if you have any questions. 
d.    All 7th-12th Graders:  If you're interested in swimming, try outs begin Monday, November 9th, from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Mid-Pacific Institute pool.  On most regular schedule days, HBA will provide one-way bus transportation to the site, but you need to arrange your own rides home.  Please check the bus schedule posted in the middle school snack bar, middle school homerooms or outside the athletic office for details.  Contact the athletic office if you have any questions. 
e.    All 9th-12th Graders:  If you're interested in canoe paddling, try outs begin today, Monday, November 3rd from 4:00-6:00 at the Ala Wai Canal.  On most regular schedule days, HBA will provide one-way bus transportation to the site, but you need to arrange your own rides home.  Please check the bus schedule posted in the middle school snack bar, middle school homerooms or outside the athletic office for details.  Contact the athletic office if you have any questions. 
f.    All Students Age 16 and Older:  We're looking for responsible, reliable and conscientious students to work as scorers and timers for ILH basketball games this upcoming winter season.  The pay is $10.00 per game and the schedule is flexible.  If you're interested, please see Coach Keith or me in the athletic office as soon as possible.  Experience is preferable but not essential. 

3.    SERVANT GROUP {Mrs. Gruspe}:
a.    If you are interested in going to City of Joy on Saturday, please turn in your permission form by Tuesday, Nov. 3rd.
b.    We will be having another Joint Homeroom this Thursday.  Servant Group, please come early on
Thursday to help set up the gym.
c.    Prayer time in Mrs. Gruspe's room on Thursday's during lunch.  Everyone is welcome.  Please drop
off any prayer requests you would like us to pray for.

9th GRADE:  9th Grade Bible Study in Room 108 on Tuesday mornings, led by Kalei Hosaka.  {Mrs. Gruspe}

12th GRADE:  Senior Camp Registration Forms are due tomorrow, Nov. 3rd.  If you will not be going to camp, please inform your homeroom teacher.  Cabin sign-ups will be tomorrow during break in front of the Christian Ministries office.  {Mrs. Gruspe}
