9th-12th Grades:

1.    Students: Today’s schedule is HS-3 - extended periods A, C, E, and G. Tomorrow will be HS-2B – extended periods B, D, F and early dismissal.  On Wednesday, we will have HS-1, regular 7 periods.  {Mrs. Hirae}

2.    Students, Faculty & Staff:  Thanks to all of you for welcoming the HBA 6th graders to our campuses last Friday.   Special thanks to the HS C period teachers and MS teachers for allowing the students to observe/participate in your classes, and to our C period hosts and D period helpers.  The students enjoyed themselves and are now looking forward to joining us as 7th graders next year.  {Mrs. Lee}

3.    Registration for next year is less than 3 months away!!!  Tuesday is the last day to submit your ideas to be considered for the 2010-11 Course Survey that you will be completing in the next few weeks.  Be sure to give your new course idea to Mrs. Atta or Ms. Ota in Room 200, by November 17th so that it can be considered for the Student Interest Course Survey slated for December.   Idea Forms are available from the following faculty members:

4.    Ms. Chong and Mr. Frontiera will be showing the a surf movie entitled "The Present" in Mr. Frontiera's class, Room 102, during lunch next week Tuesday and Wednesday.  Come celebrate the joy and the beauty of God's creation by enjoying this great film.

5.    CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS:

a.    STUDENT COUNCIL.  The Student Council is proud to announce this year's Winter Banquet will be held at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Hotel.  The theme is "You Belong With Me."  Tickets are $46 and will be on sale from Monday, November 16 through Wednesday, November 25 at lunch in the mall area.  Payment, made out to "Hawaii Baptist Academy," is by check only.  To purchase tickets one must have the Winter Banquet Guidelines completed.  Winter Banquet Guidelines may be found at the HBA website under "Student Life-High School Campus" or in the library.  Hope to see you there!  {Mr. Herder}

    b.    INTERACT CLUB. 
There will be an Interact Club meeting this Thursday at lunch in the gym.

    c.    SERVANT GROUP.  City of Joy is this Saturday.  If you are planning on coming, please turn in your permission form to Mr. Lockridge ASAP!  {Mrs. Gruspe}

9th-10th GRADES:
1.    New Girls accountability group starting this Wednesday, before school, 7:15 a.m. in Room 108...a time to share and pray for each other and help keep each other accountable.  {Mrs. Gruspe}

2.    Reminder: 9th and 10th grade Bible Study
on Tuesdays at 7:00 a.m. in Mrs. Gruspe's room.  Everyone is welcome...come and check it out.  {Mrs. Gruspe}

12th GRADE:
1.    Seniors: Please continue to bring in your payments for the yearbook cover upgrade and the senior group photo.  If you indicated interest in either and have not paid, you will be contacted by a yearbook staff shortly.  {Mr. Honzaki}

2.    It's Senior camp week.  Please drop off your camp gear at the U-haul truck on Thursday before school starts.  If you are not going to camp, please report to the library on Friday.  {Mrs. Gruspe}
