9th-12th Grades:

1.    Students Whose Lockers are in B Building (gym, mall area):  The school will be termite treating the B building on March 27-28.  Please remove all food, drinks, vitamins and medication from your lockers. These items will not be safe to eat, drink, or use after the tenting is completed.  {Mrs. Hirae}

2.    From Christian Ministries (Mrs. Gruspe):
a.    If you ordered a CEW T-shirt, you should have received it from your home room teacher.  If you ordered one and did not get it, please go to the Christian Ministries office.
b.    You will be receiving another copy of your CEW schedule today in home room.  If you lose it during CEW, please go to the table that will be located outside of the Christian Ministries office to look up your schedule.
c.    If you are going on one of these seminars:  Caroling to the Elderly, Solomon: The Heart of a Leader, Let’s Go Fishing, Appreciating-a-vet, or City Love, make sure you turn in your permission form.

3.    *Please continue to support HBA’s efforts to earn college scholarships for high school seniors through Foodland’s Shop for Higher Education Program.  We need to be ranked in the top 50 schools in order to qualify for a scholarship award, and we are currently in 58th place.  HBA’s school code is 7521.  This program runs through March 24, 2009.  {Mrs. Lee}

9th-10th Grades:  We will not have advisory periods this week.  Please report to homeroom for your scheduled advisory periods.  Have a great spring break!  We will resume our advisory meetings when you return to school in April.  {Mrs. Hirae}

11th-12th Grades:
1.    Juniors and Seniors--A couple of reminders concerning the Jr. Sr. banquet, next Monday March 23rd (Hyatt Regency Ballroom 5:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.):
  • Check in will begin at 5:30 p.m. -please check in no later than 6:30 p.m.  Immediately after you have checked in, please take a quick candid picture and then proceed to the next ballroom should you choose to purchase formal pictures.  Please make all checks payable to Ace Studio.
  • Parking at the Hyatt Regency are as follows:  $5.00 for validated self-parking; $8.00 for validated valet parking (tip not included).

2.    Last call for anyone wanting to take an AP exam for a class they are not taking now.  See Mrs. Smith by Tues., March 17th with a check for $86 per exam payable to HBA.

12th Grade:  Seniors--Red Day is Wednesday, March 18th!   This means that it is time to sign up to give blood at the HBA blood drive.  Get your form in to either Mrs. Nakano or one of the NHS officers, Kelly, Ellison, Trevor, Keline, or Josh and enjoy some desserts on Wednesday morning by the senior area courtesy of NHS.  Please sign up to give-- REMEMBER you can save up to THREE LIVES in less than ONE HOUR!  {Mrs. Nakano}
