Alumni
HBA’s first graduating class was three young men in 1954. Since then, about 3,300 students have joined the alumni ranks, with about 60% living in Hawaii. The development office maintains a database for alumni, assists alumni in keeping in touch with one another and the school, and features updates and profiles in the school newsletter. It also sponsors alumni events like the summer Ho‘olaule‘a for all alumni, usually held the first or second week of July. Reunion classes are encouraged to plan their get-togethers around this event.

Ho'olaule'a on July 9 on the lawn of the HBA Elementary Campus. Other alumni events scheduled for the week
include a golf tournament at the Navy Marine Golf Course on July 6, volleyball
tournament at the HBA high school gymnasium on July 7 and network luncheon at
the HBA high school cafeteria on July 8.
Classes scheduled for reunions are 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005.
Reunion classes will be recognized at the July 9 dinner.
