About HBA

The team won the Silver Division title at the Kauai Challenge (see photo) going 6-3 for the tournament.  Their only losses were to defending Texas 3A Champions Lovejoy High, Iolani School and Troy High (CA).  There were 28 teams that participated in the tourney, including 12 from the mainland U.S.  Two of the three teams HBA lost to – Iolani and Troy – made the gold division final.

At the 26th Annual Ann Kang, the girls fared well, posting another 6-3 mark which was the fourth best record in the 16-team event.  Among the teams HBA defeated was Mater Dei High (CA), a perennial athletic powerhouse from Southern California.

HBA participates in the Kamehameha Hawaii Volleyball Invitational August 28th and 29th.  They have also gotten the ILH season underway and are 2-0 thus far.
