On Friday, February 5th, the Wolfpack girls canoe paddlers made history by participating in their first division I state championship at Keehi Lagoon. Then they advanced to the finals and won the championship race in this inaugural appearance for the program. The win was a major upset as Pac-5 earned their berth into the state championships only as the third place team from the ILH (behind Kamehameha and Punahou).

HBA representatives on the winning 8-person crew were seniors Alyssa Rodeheaver-Nojima and Nicole Faildo.

On Saturday, February 6th, the Pac-5 girls varsity soccer team defended their HHSAA division II state championship with a 1-0 victory over previously undefeated and top seeded Kailua High. The third seeded Wolfpack entered the tournament as the ILH division II champion and advanced to the final by defeating Kamehameha-Hawaii 2-1 in the quarterfinals and Kapa’a High 2-0 in the semi-finals.  It is Pac-5’s third division II state soccer crown in three tries as the program also won in 2007 and 2009 (Pac-5 was classified as division I in 2008).

HBA representatives on the soccer team were seniors C’era Oliveira and Michelle Chinen, and juniors Ashley Haruki, Tiffany McCue, Rebecca Yonashiro, and Rachel Yonashiro.
