The Eagle Eye Wins Best in State for Photography
HBA editors win journalism awards in photography and layout & design
The Eagle Eye won Best in State for Photography in the 38th annual Hawaii State High School Journalism Awards ceremony held on April 23, 2008. The photo, taken by junior Trevor Manago, featured middle school Geography Bee champion Kyle Park contemplating an answer during the school level bee.
In addition to the photography award, HBA claimed the Honolulu Private Schools Merit Award in Layout and Design.
The Editors of the Eagle Eye are seniors Miku Konsolas, and Charissa Higashi.
