The HBA boys varsity basketball team finished its regular season with an 8-1 record (16-3 overall record) and in second place in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu. In doing so, the team qualified for the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division II Boys Basketball Championships for the second consecutive year. The Eagles look to improve on last year's performance when it lost in the opening round to Moloka'i, but then defeated Kauai and St. Joseph to finish as consolation champions.
Make plans to get out to Moanalua High School this Wednesday, February 20th to support the team as they open with St. Joseph of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation. The game is scheduled for 6:00 PM. Wear your HBA spirit shirts, polos, or anything black, gold/yellow or white and show your school spirit! Then follow the Eagles throughout the rest of the tournament. HBA Pride...GO EAGLES!
