As always, the fictitious legal case is relevant to high scholars. This year's civil case is about the online social networking site MySpace. A teen is suing a school district for defamation, charging that the warning comment a teacher posted on his rather ambiguous page caused him to lose his job and reputation.
The defense and plaintiff sides have three witnesses and several attorney roles each. The Black team is made up mostly of veterans. Gold includes veterans and impressive newcomers.
The matches are held at 5:00 at the Circuit Court on Punchbowl St.
