Dakota (left) was selected as the Second Place Winner and Karlyn (right) was Third Place Winner for 2007 Water Conservation Week Poster Contest
On April 23rd, Dakota (KB) and Karlyn (KG) attended the Board of Water Supply’s Board Meeting to receive their prizes for their participation in the Honolulu Board of Water Supply’s 2007 Water Conservation Week Poster Contest. Dakota was selected as the Second Place winner, and Karlyn was selected as the Third Place winner in the Kindergarten division. Dakota received a $75.00 U.S. Savings Bond, and Karlyn received a $50.00 U.S. Savings Bond.
Their posters will be featured in the 2008 Water Conservation Calendar. The winning and honorable mention posters will be on exhibit in the Public Service Building lobby from May 1 through 15, and at the Pearlridge Center Uptown, from May 18 through May 28, 2007. Keenan Dung (3G) was also an Honorable Mention winner. Congratulations, to all HBA students who participated and entered the contest!
