2010 Mainland Advisory Council Annual Meeting
Hawaii Baptist Academy Welcomes You
to MAC Week 2010
MAC Week 2010 is your opportunity to see God at work in the Pacific through the ministry of Hawaii Baptist Academy. Plan to attend the
34th annual gathering of HBA’s Mainland Advisory Council members and guests in Honolulu,
February 16–19. The meeting site is the
Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel on Waikiki Beach. The morning sessions, Tuesday–Friday, will begin with breakfast and feature presentations on the school and its ministry. You will also have the opportunity to visit the elementary, middle and high school campuses and interact with the student and faculty. The afternoon will be free for optional tours and activities. The week will climax Friday evening with an aloha banquet at the Hilton. Island hosts will assist with transportation between the airport and hotel.
Started by Southern Baptist missionaries in 1949 with 36 students, Hawaii Baptist Academy today has an enrollment of 1,080 students, kindergarten through twelfth grade. Committed to academic excellence and to its evangelical mission, HBA is recognized as one of the top private schools in Hawaii. HBA’s remarkable advancement is a testament to the prayers and support of mission-minded friends and churches. We value the strong partnership of the Mainland Advisory Council which continues to impact the witness of HBA in the Pacific and around the world.
The theme for the 2010 meeting is “One Ohana” (family) from Galatians 6:10. Come and see what God is doing at Hawaii Baptist Academy. Come and experience His ohana as He draws mainland and island friends together for His work.
